On the First Sunday of Advent, 2011 (November 27, 2011),
Roman Catholics in the United States will begin praying and singing
a new English translation of the Latin Missale Romanum, or Roman Missal.
Some parts of the Mass will remain the same; others will change.
On Friday, August 20, 2010, Cardinal Francis George, president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops announced that we have received the final text of The Roman Missal.
